bluevegie (1732), Perth, Australia Jun 4, 2008 Yellow gold body (dull) with solid white head. Sweet hop aroma. Just enough bite to be acceptable for me with round maltiness, almost medium body and soft carbonation. One of the better Chilean beers.
Lilith (241), Santiago, Chile Apr 7, 2008 Sampled at Malloco’s Oktoberfest Golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma is sweet, citric and fruity with hints of yogurt. Flavor is flowery and fry. Long finish. Sully (1363), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Mar 31, 2008 A typical pour with golden hue and creamy head. These bloody glasses must have been washed in pigfat as the head disappears again! Quite a herbaceous and grassy nose here which is certainly a tilt to the Euro pil style. Good spicy hop nose which is supported by the taste. This is a good version of this style in a country beset with mediocre pale lagers. You certainly wouldn’t kross this off your list of beers to drink in Chile. KingGambrinus (88), Santiago, Chile Feb 17, 2008 Clear golden color with a citric medium head. Aroma is mainly sweet, of malt, lemon, orange, herbs, and citrus. Flavor is medium bitter, of soft malt, and lightly citric. Light to medium body, a bit of smoothiness on the texture and, of course, very refreshing. almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile Dec 24, 2007 Has a golden color, colored with lights of bronze color. In the aroma there are subtle malts, but predominate the herbs and the hop.
In the palate is hoppynesses, with something of malty, and an end of caramel .
Has a soft texture and an average body. Very easy to drink. Undoubtedly, is the best Chilean pilsner.
