Bottle. Light soapy perfumed hop nose. Dark golden, lively, golden lace. Sugary, caramel base, Slightly sticky on the palate - medium bodyearthy hops in good quantities, sligtly strange grandmother soap retronasal. Sweet aftertaste. Needs to be a bit leaner for me.

Bottle: Deep golden, nesrly clear, small lacy off-white foam, sweetish bready-fruity nose, some lazy hops underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and a bit sticky; sweet bready-malty finish, accompanied by only a very subdued hoppiness. Not too bad, but way too much on the sweet side…

330ml bottle. I bought this under the impression (judging by name and label) it’d be a (India) pale ale or of similar ilk so was mildly disappointed to find it not the case. Poured a clear copper-amber with a modest one-finger off-white to light beige head and a slow fade. Caramel, OK malt and mid fruits in there but a fair grassy, subtly resinous bitterness presides. Light to medium body, medium-ish carbonation and a decent endurance to the finish. So, it’s not quite a (I)PA or similar, but it is a competent bitter. Bottled 25/06/13 so pretty fresh.

75cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours clear golden with a white head. Moderate malty and fruity aroma with some hoppy notes and hints of citrus. Medium sweet with a fairly nice bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbon. Quite decent.

Beautiful bottle pours out clear dark brown / dark amber coloured beer with low steady head and medium body. Nose of bitter hops. Taste of spicy hops, dark bread, malt, nuts, whiskey, torf and vanilla. Hints of woods and basement aromas, but very fresh and light. Really easy and nice to drink with a nice balanced bitterness.

Bottle shared with McTapps. A nice one with some vanilla and hops in the front. Thought this was one a belgian before taking a look at the bottle. Decent hops aromas with a strange alc aroma and sweetish end. Nice, very nice.

Bottle from Bierland,Hamburg. Pours clear dark golden with a big frothy white head. Aroma got musty notes, weak caramel. Taste is moderate bitter, weak fruity, an ordinary british bitter, nothing special.

Clear dark gold, fluffy head. Decent faximile of an English bitter. Malty, but the hops do not feel 100%. Flowers, peaches, dust, dry tail. A fresh bottle is probably much better.
