roasty aroma, with some coffee in it. smoked finish.
Pours reddish black with a little soft tan head.
A dry beer, no sweetness in it, which is something I look for in a stout.
I would certainly recommend this beer to everybody, as It’s consistently good and easy to acquire here in Chile.

Keg - Galindo, Santiago. A deep, opaque brown coloured beer with a fine and mostly disappearing creamy tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, some liquorice and dried fruits. Medium-ish body, medium to full carbonation and an enduring length to the rather dry, somewhat ashy finish.

Un sabor agrio desagradable a la primera probada que se mantiene luego en la boca. Esperaba más de Kross

Bottle bought in Hannover, labelled 5.4% and subtitled "cream stout". The label colour and design is different too. Pours black with a thin light beige head and a roasty, dried dark fruit, coffee and demerara nose with a touch of cocoa. Initially creamy texture with coffee and prune notes. Burnt bitterness and a touch of treacle toffee, more roast burnt coffee and a little liquorice. A solid dry stout.

Bottle, thanks Palle! Almost black, brown collapsing layering head. Coffe, chocolate roast aroma with preserved fruit notes. Nice base roast, good moccha flavors with cedarwood and vanilla notes, berries, bitter hops and roast finish. Medium to light body with a good chewyness and sparkle. Nice one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2013 Pours a clear reddish black when held to the light, light foam which didn’t last. Strong aromas of coffee, malts, and dried fruits, slight sour element as well. Very strong coffee flavor with some chocolate notes as well, but well balanced with strong bitter. Light to medium body and light carbonation. Good beer.
