cking (720), North Canton, Ohio, USA May 13, 2008 Pours a light golden-copper color with a billowing fluffy head that settles to a thick white cap. Beautiful carbonation, very lively. Faint grassy aroma, lightly sweetened with some peppery hops. Crisp and refreshing, this really hit the spot after an afternoon of working in the yard. Good Czech Pilsener taste, this is textbook. Light grainy, grassy malt partnered by some balancing bitter hops that lend a green floral flavor. A little biscuity. A real nice light satisfying lager.
pope_phred (82), Plainfield, Illinois, USA Aug 6, 2008 Poured from the bottle into a double-walled pint glass. Pour produced a clear, golden body topped by a quickly diminishing white head of foam. Sharp nose with some citrus notes and malts. Crisp mouthfeel and initially bitter, the sting of effervescence numbs the tongue, overpowering the palate. This pilsner has a dry, roasted finish, with a roasted (almost burnt) aftertaste. Not bad, though I’m not a fan of the aftertaste, which lingers longer than necessary. Beerman6686 (628), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2008 Pours a really light yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, and corn. Flavor is also grassy, metallic and blah. sliffy (1950), Columbus, Ohio, USA Aug 4, 2008 Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma, grassy notes, yeast, light malts, and some subtle floral hints. Flavor, floral notes, light and bready, yeast, some fruity and grassy hops. sebletitje (187), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 29, 2008 50cl bottle.
Golden / amber.
Aroma and taste are filled with grains and malt.Tastes like another pilsner, comes filled with your nasty hoppy-metalic notes.
