grat (433), ST. Louis, Missouri, USA Mar 12, 2006 I had this on draft at a bar in Astoria, NY that is run by a Czech family. They really take care of their beers here because everything on draught was incredibly fresh. Slightly mustard yellow copper. Frothy head that lingered shortly but died out ater the first few sips. Nose is graham crackers. Nice and sweet, sharp malts. Cracked wheat and biscuits but with a sweet overtone. Hops are beautiful. Cottony herbalness in the hops. Bitter and slightly harsh but nothing over the top. Flavors reflect this with a lovely apricoty malt. Hops are bitter and really shine through. Bitter and sharply so. Excellent beer in m y opinion.

It pours a beautiful golden beer with a quick diminishing head. Malty nose balanced by the hops. A waxy, oily touch to the aroma. More hops showing up in the taste. Waxy. Slightly salty? Mediocre saaz hop profile. Bready. Light bitterness. Poor lacework. Hoppy finish.
