I had this on draft at a bar in Astoria, NY that is run by a Czech family. They really take care of their beers here because everything on draught was incredibly fresh. Slightly mustard yellow copper. Frothy head that lingered shortly but died out ater the first few sips. Nose is graham crackers. Nice and sweet, sharp malts. Cracked wheat and biscuits but with a sweet overtone. Hops are beautiful. Cottony herbalness in the hops. Bitter and slightly harsh but nothing over the top. Flavors reflect this with a lovely apricoty malt. Hops are bitter and really shine through. Bitter and sharply so. Excellent beer in m y opinion.

Aug 31, 2008 Good thick frothy head on slight misty gold beer,good carbonation.Aroma malty biscuit,buttery notes,hoppy.Flavour malty lovely bitter hop taste,really puckers the lips.A slight nutty/butter taste,refreshing flavour,fair mild sweetness.Finish malt, hop nice bitter,good pilsener.

Aug 31, 2008 (Bottle). Grassy malt aroma. Golden in color with bright white head. Flavor is grains with some interfering metallic notes and a bit of sourness. Nicely carbonated. Not enough bitter, either in the taste or the finish.

Aug 23, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Pours golden with medium white head. A malty, grassy aroma with slight metallic notes. Mild sweetness in flavor which ends in a mild bitter dry finish.

Aug 17, 2008 A mild nose. A low white head. Pale hey coloured. Quite stong hoppiness. Some metal in the nose. Some sournes and slight honey in the taste. Also mild taste of malts.

Aug 15, 2008 Bottled 50cl. It pours a beautiful golden beer with a quick diminishing head. Malty nose balanced by the hops. A waxy, oily touch to the aroma. More hops showing up in the taste. Waxy. Slightly salty? Mediocre saaz hop profile. Bready. Light bitterness. Poor lacework. Hoppy finish.
