Ahh, memories from two years ago...Bottle. Aroma of nut, dark malts, and dark chocolate with a little barnyark funk / veggies...touch of bread and popcorn. Dark nut brown / dark copper pour with a sticky, lacing beige head. Creamy crisp taste with all of the above included. Toasted nutty choco veggie. Light flowery sweetness balanced by hops. Mild, with light end-bitterness. Nice and malty, nice and rural.

omhper (19975) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 28, 2007
Cask (Bayerische Anstich) at Akkurat, Stockholm. Nut brown, firm creamy head. Evident coffee aroma. Dryish and solidly malty with seemless capuccino flavour. All flavours seem to arise from roasty malt, yet it’scomplex and laidback at the same time. Finishes with medium bitterness. A top effort!

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2007
Bottle@Pilsbar Franco, Erlangen. Dark for a lager, sort of a pale mahogany. Lightly perfumy aroma, with some pigfarm aromas. Nutty malts and also quite fruity ( i was having a tough time pinning this down). Lovely earthy hops, slightly grassy. Very nice drinking. Maybe it was because i was a little thirsty, but this was really pleasant.

bottle at pils bar franco in erlangen. clear mahogany with no trace of sediment and a faint white head. bizarre aroma of rexona, avocado, mango nectar, pistachio-flavoured ice cream and the abbatoir town of casino. quite a rough flavour with some caramel and a prickly herbaceous quality. very drinkable
