500ml bottle: poured amber with a full sized white head. Light malt and hop nose. Reminds me of Sam Adams lager but not as flavorful. Mild yeast in the flavor with a bit of hops. Good clean drinking lager that I really enjoyed.

Ziemlich dunkle Optik.

Test vom 13.11.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,9,12,9,9,10 - 10,15

TEJA (1156) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle sampled at Thomas W, thanks. Short light brown head. Dark amber color, somewere between lager and a dunkel. Light aroma of Munic malt. The Munic malt also dominate the taste and give some residual sweetness.

Really cool old-school 50cl bottle. Dark chestnut, pale big bubbled head. Manure like nose, little sour cherries, springtime earth. Flavor has little roast, syrupiness, little funk, overdone popcorn, herbal bitterness with faint raisins. Almost medium bodied, soft mouthfilling carbonation. Strangely this intrigues my country boy heart.

Bottle from "Sörspecialista", Budapest. Shows a clear and dark brown, the nice and laceing head is off-white,, which remains filmy on the top, carbonation’s average. Smell of yeast and light toffee. Crisp start, flavour’s toasty/toffee. The middle is first of all yeasty with caramell and spicy/grassy aromas in the back. The finish is spicy and dry. That follows a good aftertaste. Good drinkable, medium bodied brew, overall not bad...

Poured dark brown and murky with a large, frothy off white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt with some nuttyness. Medium body, flavour is sweet caramel with some spice with a dry, bitter finish.

Tap @ Dauth Schneider 30/01/13. Pours an auburnish dark brown with a yellowish-brown, large-bubbled head. Aroma is light caramel, a lot of dark bread, slight German hops. Taste begins with a strong caramel, some herbal flavor as well. Light breadiness. The finish is a disappointment. It is watery and light and not much of an aftertaste. Light herbal and wooden notes. Palate is light, somewhat carbonated, a bit watery. A bottle I had a few days later (thanks Hart) was completely different. It was a bit older, but the aroma and flavor were strongly hazelnut. Scored the tap version.
