bartlebier (2363) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 9, 2015
50cl bulky bottle, bb08/15. Round and creamy straw yellow hazy pour. Aromas of sweet honey pops, fresh protein foam, drain and grain husk blend into fresh, dulcet honeycoated pale malts, dry straw before an almost "wet" noble hop grassy bitterness sets in. Just about balanced, smooth naturtrüb and with quite some distinct regional character.

Alerich (71) - Dresden, Saxony-Anhalt, GERMANY - NOV 23, 2014
Yellow, hazy body with a medium head. It smells like hops, flowers and lemon. The taste is malty and fruity like wine grapes with a touch of orange. Medium, yeasty body and moderate carbonation almost like a wheat beer. It’s easy to drink, smooth and not very complex.

Bottle from a REWE in Bamberg. Deep gold in colour and slightly hazy, with a short-lived white head and a few bubble of carbonation. Sweet, stone fruit and cereal malt aroma with a touch of leafy hop. Sweet, soft fruit flavours with a gentle finish. Good.
