It is a light, crisp, refreshing pils that went down extremely nicely on a hot and sunny Bamberg day.

Draft at Fränkisches Bierfest Nürnberg.
Given the character I would guess this is the kellerbier filtered.
Very clean pilsner malt expression. Aromatic crackers, just-baked bread.
Medium sweet, mild -to-medium bitterness.
Minerallic, crisp, quenching, clean.
Beautiful in it’s simplicity.
Soft malt, balanced bitterness.
Lingering spiced lemon / floral hop flavors.

Cask (Bayerische Anstich) at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden, small head. Bready grassy nose. Dryish with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Deep, bready malt character covered with a thin layer of grassy hops. Medium bitterness.

Fruchtiger Geruch mit zitronig-minzigen Nuancen. Frischer Antrunk. Sanft feinherber Ausklang. Vollmundiges Pils. Sympathisch und gut. Test vom 2.4.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Draught at the Fränkisches Bierfest Nürnberg 2013. Head is mostly lasting. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a hint of soap. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A light, easy-going, pleasant rendition. After having had poor experiences with their Dunkel (both from bottle and keg), I was ready to write this brewery off, but they’ve got some decent stuff. Thanks to my buds for pushing me to give ’em another shot.
