33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, yet refreshing, not balanced, clear, nearly no head, nothing special

33 cl bottle, bought in Oostende. Golden color, ok white head. Aroma is sweet. Flavor ha an unpleasant sweetness and a harsh bitterness in the finish. Not good.

Bottle, 33 cl. Clear yelloow color, and white head. Aroma nice, flowery nose. Thin body. Taste pure malts, with a touch of hops in the finish.

Golden blond coloured beer with small white head. Almost no carbonation. Hoppy aroma. Full palate little creamy. Bitter ending.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2010 Clear golden blond coloured beer with some average carbonation and an average white head. Sweet pils-malty suggary aroma with slight hoppy hints. Medium to light wattery palate. Finish is again mostly sweet, little hoppy hinted with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Very medium one.

(Bottled, BBE 25/07/2007) Clear, paleish golden with a small, lacy head. Corny mushroom aroma with hints of burned butter. Acidic, slightly metallic mushroom flavor. Light to medium-bodied palate with medium carbonation. An unclean and uninteresting lager.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2007 Enjoyable taste when served in the 33cl bottle. Easy to drink, but not that special.

(Bottle 33 cl) Typical pilsener golden, small white head. Very nice, flowery nose. Very, clear and pure malty flavours, with the perfect touch of hops in the finish. An archetypical example of a well-made. well-balanced pilsener. Thanks to Joris for the history lesson. 121197.

Bottled. Golden colour, small head. Grainy and sweet, no bitterness. A useless example of industrial adjuncy lager.
