3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I’ve time for this one. Of all the cheap Desitka’s, it’s one of the best. That is to say - it trumps Branik & Staropramen. When served cold, it goes down just fine. Reminds me of the EE days.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Off white modest head with creamy surface diminishing upon a clear gold golden body. Aroma; mild hops and mild mild caramel malts, slightly some milky notes. Taste; caramel malts, hops, grainy bread, rubber, buttery notes and a little butterscotch. Nice soft creamy on palate, amazing! Some hops surviving into the finish, among light brown bread and milky caramels. Overall a superb desitka! [50cl brown btl 4.2%abv l0° BB11.2014]

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
500 ml bottle. BBE 11/2014. (Spar) Prague, Czech Republic.
The beer pours golden with a tiny white head. The bottle and the label oozes tranquility and that what’s the aroma is all about. Weak maltiness really. The flavour is malt, mild cardboard notes and a touch of grass. Watery. Really watery. A royal disappointment.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 0,5l; aroma only slight, but noble hop and malty. Gold to light brown body with thin white head. Taste very well balanced - medium bitter, light but not badsour and sweet. Dominance of various hop tones, hints of malt and yeast. Carbonation little up average. Finish much more bitter, aftertaste medium and bitter.
Overall: one of the best czech macrobreweried 10°. It has everything, what beer of this category and quality need.

La note dit presque tout... Pas d’effervescence, pas de goűt, décevante en fait.
