Bottle. Nice black pour with a big head. Clean, vegetal, smoky bbq roast aroma, a touch of potato. Great, mild but flavorful mouth that screams schwarzbier. Perfect blend of clean drinking lager and roasty stout flavors. Love it.

500ml bottle. Pretty attractive appearance-wise, deep brown-amber color with a massive soapy. Sweet malt and classic Noble hops aroma. Lot caramel flavor, with a watery mouthfeel. The hops are very minimal and downplayed, but that works alright for the style. Not unlike a Dunkel in most respects, with some sweet chocolate pungency. A little mellowed out, but that could also be from being on the shelves/warehouses too long. Pleasant enough, but rather simple and unexceptional.

0.5 l bottle.
Deep brown colour with a sting of red.
Nice pale brown head, which remains creamy, soft carbonation.
Light roasty, caramell smell.
Taste is a rather sour and sweet-watery mixture, body is medium.
Flavour’s sweet and roasted coffeebeens-liked, some hops’ hiding, too.
Finish is coffeebitter, which lasts long.
Passes somehow, but it’s not the real for me...
