Sweet malts on the nose, bready. Pours very dark brown no head. Dark malts, hints of chocolate, bitter chocolate, grassy hops, very fresh tasting, good roasty flavors but light and easy to drink.

Gott! Förvĺnande lite sötma. Inte sĺ bränd i smaken. Svag brödton, som i doften. Svaga nyanser av torkat korn.

On tap in Prague. Deep dark brown, beige head. Aroma of coffee, malts. Flavour is coffee, sweet dark malts, a little chocolate, some sourness, although I’m not sure that is supposed to be there. Medium bodied. I liked this one though, had some more going on than other dark Czechs I’ve had in Prague.

Appearance: Pours a clear, dark brown body with no real head formation beyond some sporadic bubbles.
Smell: Dark, grainy malts with a slight note of fruit and some minor sweetish hints.
Taste: Dark malts provide modest tastes of chocolate and dark caramel with an overall light sweetness. A touch fruity. Hint of earthy molasses. Faint floral and spicy hops with a muted bitterness. Finishes dry with a light roastiness.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: An almost acceptable schwarzbier, though I am a bit wary regarding this "artificial sweetener" listed under ingredients.

From a brown bottle - Pours dark brown with almost no head or carbonation. Smells of light hops and super sweet malts. First sip is very sweet with caramel notes and very little hops. Not much happening here. Worth skipping this one!

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a medium tan head. Aroma of sweet, roasted malt. The flavour is roasted malt and a bit sweet. Dry finish and quite thin body.

Can 0,5l shared with Rune. Dark ruby colored. A creamy tanned head. Pleasant aroma of coffee and chocolate. A bit thin in flavor but some roasted malt. No bitterness. OK to food.

On tap at Astoria Beer Garden- pours a very dark brown color with little light passing through. Full chocolate colored head. Aroma is very faint and sweet with a little hop character and malt. Taste is a little bitter with some maltiness. Palate is average. Thin body. Not too bad of a brew but dont go out of your way to get this one.
