Clear golden with a large white head. Aroma of pilsnermalt, lager yeast, and small notes of floral hops. Taste reflects the aroma. Low bodied. Medium bitterness. Medium carbonation.

Post communist Czech beers are not so good as before. Why? Simply, I do not know. Probably because of the first learned lesson about the profit. Boring pilsner, something so average in everything. No head, no aroma, carbonation medium to high. And they call it Imperial! Can be good only on hot summer days in the desert.

Kolor jasny. Piana słaba. Zapach słaby, troszkę karton. Słaba goryczka. Przeciętny lager/pils.

0.5 l bottle to a flute, 4.2% ABV. Deep golden color, temporary thin white head. No outstanding aroma. Decent bitterish taste for a commercial lager with medium finishing. The world would be a better place if there were no worse commercial beers.

Pours deep gold with a somewhat bubbly head. Aroma is lightly malty with a noteable if subdued hops character. Set against the strong malt backdrop is a taste bitter in a flat and almost metallic manner. Light bodied but with a lightly oily palate. Quite drinkable but not particularly refreshing or interesting. The water used in the brew did not particularly appeal to me. Not really worth it given there are so many better Czech lagers out there.

Pours a clear golden body with small, bubbly looking white head. Smell is typical lager with some metallic notes to it. Thin body with regular carbonation. Texture is slightly oily, which is nice. Taste comes as bitter at first, but ends with somewhat sweet aftertaste. Aroma of malts, yeast, grass and some light hops in the background. Not really a fan of overall metallic mouthfeel, tho. Overall, very mediocre and a bit boring. But still ok if in need of quick refreshment.

Can at gas pump. Pasteurization induced oxidation overwhelms the experience. However the underlying beer seems as if it could be good. Not much use as it is now.
