It tasted, well...like any regular Australian lager. Whilst not bad, just not worth it when I can buy a local brew for the same taste.
Lacking the hoppy bitterness of a pils, almost had that hop oil taste to it. Easy to drink, light but with a bit of an unpleasent bitter aftertaste. A little but too sweet for my likeing.
Disappointing when benchmarked next to so many good Czech pils.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Soldaten Svejk, Stockholm. Nice golden body topped with a fabulous white foamy head. Nice hoppy aroma with subtle grainy and herbal hints. Taste is well-balanced but lacks complexity. It ends with a more than decent bitter/hoppy finish. Without standing at the same level as the Pilsner Urquell or the Budejovicky, this is quite a good Bohemian Pilsner.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Thin bodied, flat malt, dusty hops, wilted grass. Whilst I’m sure this beer hasn’t travelled well, I don’t believe it had much to offer in the first place.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bright golden colour, possible to build a great head. Nice aroma with balance between maltiness and grassy, slightly spicy hop notes. typical Zatec. Rather light, medium bitter, clean and fresh taste. More german pils type than traditional czech (drier, fresher and lighter)

Bottled. Golden bullion, fizzy with large bubbles. Sharp clean bitter flavour. Crisp and true palate but comparatively simple for a Czech larger.
