From a 1 pt. 9 oz. euro brown bottle with an unmarked bottled date on the back label. Made a decent pilsener appearance, poured a clear golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, good carbonation. Had a nose of lemons, spicy hops and sweet biscuity, pale malts. A malty crisp, dry and smooth light bodied mouthfeel, above average drinkability. Decent Czech pilsener taste, dry biscuity and bready malts, lemony and spicy, grassy hops and a dry lemony and sweet malty finish. Not a great Czech pilsener, but not a bad one either, has a nice balanced taste and is quite quaffable.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2007 Pours light golden with a quickly receding wispy white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy pasture hops, with sticky malt. Taste is grassy, resinous and bitter with bready lager yeast and the typical malt sweetness from Eastern lagers. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly resinous, with smooth and subdued carbonation. This beer fared better in a rerate, but it still has a buttery malt flavor that I don’t care for too much.

A nice, well rounded Bohemian Pils, pouring a golden body with a tall, bubbly white head. The aroma is warm buttered bread sprinkled with bitter herbs and grasses. It tastes of sweet malts and herbal hops, the latter winning out in a lengthy bitter finish. Decent.

Bottle at Varberg Kurort. Golden with a large white head, nice lacings. Aroma moderate malty and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, not that bitter, more round. Light/medium body, soft carbonated.

Bottled. Some describe the color as pale or straw. Mine is almost like copper. The syrupy aroma resembles European strong lagers. Medicine flavor. Npthing special.

Pour is a bright golden with a average white head, Aroma is non-existant. Nothing really there and could be water for all I know. Flavor is bitter with not much else to help it. This is not a Bohemian pilsner and i would consider this a pale lager at best, a very poor pale lager.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2006 0.5l draft in some pub in Zagreb, possibly the only place that has it in Croatia.
Pretty golden colour with lively streams of carbonation and a firm, thick white head that left thick lacking. Nice. Good Saazy nose, slightly acidic, lemony, dusty, a tad malty too. The taste is nice too, hops dominate this one, lemony, acidic (maybe a tad too acidic for the style, but very pleasant anyway). Malt takes the back seet in this one, but it’s there, making a light, but still pleasant background. Herbal, bitter aftertaste. A nice, simple, hoppy pils that has its subleties.
