Can. A golden beer with a little head. It tastes straw and malt, but with a good bitter end. An OK beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden colour, clear, decent size head, retained some lacing. Aroma was red cabbage and vanilla which would suggest the use of the Saaz hop. Tasted fairly malt forward, not much bitterness, notes of paint, finish slightly grainy. Well carbonated and smooth enough but would have liked a crisper texture. Easy to identify as a Czech Pils but was lacking something.

On tap at some sushi bar in Berlin, guess it’s this beer (no type mentioned in the menu). Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, light malty, light grassy. Flavour is also medium sweet, light malty, light honey, light bitter finish. A bit overcarbonated, and not very tasty imo. Light-bodied.

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a clear gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Big crisp grain, light musk on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet and grainy with a touch of paper. Grain, sweet paper into a crisp grainy bitterness.

50cl bottle. Aroma of pilsener - a bit of hay, a bit of grass, a bit of spring. Pale golden, clear pour, with frothy head, that goes from 5 cm to 3 mm in 1 minute, and stays at the level. Medium sweet with a hint of hoppy bitterness. Some iron, a bit umami. Medium body, which is rather good for a pilsener, creamy silky texture - let it stay in your mouth for a bit longer, savor it - lively carbonation makes tiny explosions in your mouth, and you will get quite thick hoppy lining on your palate. Pleasant but short medium-bitter aftertaste.
I would enjoy this one rather slightly colder than recommended 10-12 degC. 7-8 will not affect the texture much, and will keep your beer more enjoyable. For me, footed pilsner glass tends to get warmer quicker (I do not want to calculate surface area of different glasses today).

Bottle shared with McTapps. Not an outstanding but very good bohemian one. A bit sweetish with a nice malty finisch. Very drinkable.
