a cseh sörökre jellemzően stabil habkorona, aranysárga szín, komlós íz, illat; nem rosz ez, de valahogy mégsem egy Prazdroj

Bottle. This should really be labelled a Bohemian Pilsner I think. Pours Gold with a White head. Bubbly and appealing. Flavour has a light malty base with a light scattering of grassy hops and finishes with a light bitterness. Not a bold beer but nice enough.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 chinchill (662) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 1, 2012
500ml bottle purchased and consumed in Prague. This bottle is marked "ole puvodni receptury" and is a return to an older recipe {"Chutnají jako tenkrát"}; it is apparently also a different recipe than that used for export.
Pours a hazy golden amber with a substantial off-white head. Has a good malt/hop balance, with a bit of bitterness and a lasting hoppy finish. It has a crisp mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. Above average carbonation.
O - More bitter and flavorful than average, this is a fine choice among widely available Czech lagers.
One might worry about the future of Krusovice now that this historically fine brewery is owned by Heineken, but this revised version will help put such worries to rest.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 kevnic2008 (5819) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - OCT 14, 2012
Standard hop aroma, very little head that doesn’t last,as for the taste I thought it was bland and unappealing.
