Commercial Description:
A special Krušovice lager - The symbol of the Musketeers has been connected to the Krušovice Brewery for many years. Musketeer beer was being produced in first half of the 1980's and the Royal Brewery of Krušovice has formed a link with this tradition by establishing the special Musketeer Lager. This beer is brewed in accordance with a special recipe developed by Krušovice's Master Brewers. This lager beer has a strong golden colour, a pleasant bitter hop taste, a full sweet body and a compact foam. A combination of several types of Bohemian and Moravian malts in a precisely defined ratio, natural spring water from the Křivoklát Woods and hops from the Žatec area.

(Old rating, can from Prague a couple a years ago) Golden coloured. Malty and butterscotch in the aroma. Flavour is malty and metallic. It could be decent, but the metallic flavours kills it. Nae.

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours beutiful amber - gold colour, body is not perfectly clear and there are some sediments floating in the body texture, however it looks erally nice, the hue of the body seems even slightly orangy, very gentle carbonation visually, head is foamy to frothy, regular in structure, snowy white in colour what contrasts very nicely with its body, there is a quite good lacing.
Aroma: Very nice, citrusy, bitter and characteristic hoppy front, Zatec hops are easily racognisable, there is a clear and pleasant fat malty background, quite strong aroma, leavy hoppyness, grapefruit, peanuts.
Flavour: Front is nicely focused and bitter, there is a very nice, bitter, leavy hoppy, highly aromatic nose, very soft, grainy - malty sweet background, gentle alcoholic note but only giving the beer extra value and character, really very nicely balanced beer, very pure and clean aftertaste, finish duration is long.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is dry, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is grainy, chalky, heavy astringent, bitter, clean, moderately alcoholic.

Bottle. Sparkling golden, lacing foamy white head. Slightly sourish, mineral, hayish hoppy aroma. Flavor is sweetish malty, some hayish hops, quite balanced bulk. Just a little honey and mint. Sharp strong carbonation. Quite clean, but uninteresting "pils".
