Commercial Description:
A special Krušovice lager - The symbol of the Musketeers has been connected to the Krušovice Brewery for many years. Musketeer beer was being produced in first half of the 1980's and the Royal Brewery of Krušovice has formed a link with this tradition by establishing the special Musketeer Lager. This beer is brewed in accordance with a special recipe developed by Krušovice's Master Brewers. This lager beer has a strong golden colour, a pleasant bitter hop taste, a full sweet body and a compact foam. A combination of several types of Bohemian and Moravian malts in a precisely defined ratio, natural spring water from the Křivoklát Woods and hops from the Žatec area.

On draught in Prague. Golden orange on appearance, hard to get a distinct aroma. Crisp beer and very easy to drink, may have been a little gassy but overall I enjoyed it.

Keg (Poirotti, Helsinki) Looks like nothing, smells of nothing, tastes of almost nothing. Mushrooms maybe. Bleh!

Bottle, 50 cl. Deep clear golden, medium soapy head. Bready malt aroma, sharp citric hops. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Bitter flavour, and a bit sour. Not a very good bohemian pilsener.

Golden yello, consistent head. Full-bodied and malty, slightly hoppy. Not a heavy brew, but full of flavour.

Slightly dark golden with a nice white head. Aroma is of sweetish brown bread and sharp, almost metallic hops. Smooth, refreshing feel in the mouth, basic flavours of saaz and sweetish malt. Pretty well made and unoffensive.

Bottled and Draught. My favourite of the common beers in Prague. Similar to most Czech beers in not being too heavy, but backs up the lightness with a strong, clear and pleasant hoppy flavour. Excellent colour

Bottle. Clear pale amber colour with a white head. Aroma of vegetable broth, smells like cold potato soup. Malty taste with some light off-flavours. Medium carbonation. Rubbish.

Canned(500ml). -directly from can on few locations in Praha. Nice and pleasant hop aroma with grassy and fruity notes. Dry hoppy finish. The best macro beer I’ve had in Praha. For sure , I’ll drink it again.
