Rerate As "Krusovice Musktetyr 12 degree" (Draught at a Herna-Bar close to our hostel in Vinohrady, Prague) On June 25, 2008 - last beer of the day/night Clear golden color, white head. Malty and bitter taste, some butterscotch. Moussy mouthfeel, low to medium bitterness. Sweet malty scent. 6/4/7/3/13=3.3 jrohn92 (105), USA Mar 16, 2006 This pilsener has an unusual thick creamy head of foam. The malt did dominate the hop flavor. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Dec 20, 2005 Bottle. Golden colour with a big white head. Malty, weet paper aroma and a light sweet dry, malty, light hoppy taste. Medium body with a dry finish. Vogod (4), Finland does not count Nov 3, 2005 Bottle. Pours dark golden colour with good, lasting head. Nothing really stands out from the aroma. Slightly malty taste, quite average pilsner I’d say. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Good, but nothing extraordinary. Typical czech pilsner. CEZ (369), Milano, Italy Sep 29, 2005 Deep golden body. Malty and slightly alcoholic (in a 4,5% beer?) nose. Looks and tastes "darker" than the average pilsner, with hazelnuts and a thick malt texture. Aftertaste is slightly bitter but not too dry and hoppy. You can detect some metallic notes but otherwise I’d say this makes a nice premium lager like the label says. D (537), Poland Aug 4, 2005 Updated: Aug 10, 2005This one was quite good. A nice, lasting head, the colour was quite dark for a pilsener. The taste was satisfying, with a pleasant aftertaste. Worth giving a try. stouby (1931), Holbaek, Denmark Jul 21, 2005 Can, in Prague.
Yellow with white head, mostly lasting, ok lacings. Aroma light malty, moderate hoppy. Flavor light sweet, moderate bitter. Watery, light body, lively carbonated. theacelatrain (262), Washington DC, USA Jun 29, 2005 On tap, Prague. Pours dark golden orange with viscous off-white head. Tastes lightly malty with some bite, but no outstanding flavors to speak of. Skunky, metallic aftertaste. Pretty nasty, especially when you consider that it’s marketed to Prague tourists as a premium beer; few restaurants offer it outside of the tourist traps in Old Town Square. Don’t waste your time.
