Dark amber with an off-white, flanel blanket, which formed good lacing. Nice fresh hops aroma with some raisiny, toasty, brown ale like notes. Toasty, apple-raisin in the flavour with some obvious saaz hops and low bitterness. Light body, low carbonation. Is this a brown ale / Pilsner hybrid? hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden May 29, 2005 (Draught in Prague)
Pours golden yellow with a thin white diminishing head. Hoppy, citric nose. Flavour is toffee and hops. Quite refreshing slightly acidic taste. Low bitterness. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 19, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Yet another Krusovice lager. ery dark golden, almost brownish - not much head though. Slightly malty, slightly bitter but somehow lacking some character. 030804 oh6gdx (8802), Vasa, Finland Apr 18, 2005 Dark golden colour, mediumsized white head. Weak semi-bitter malty aroma. Complex flavour, halfbitter ricy/maizy flavour with malty andd caramelly hints. Vegetably aftertaste. Very smooth palate. Refreshing. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany Apr 3, 2005 Bottled. Clear golden colour, quite big, lasting head. Herbal, hoppy, slightly sweet. Grassy, hoppy taste with a light sweetness. Ends medium dry. Drinkable bohemian pilsner. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Mar 18, 2005 This is the amber version by this company, I guess. More hops and more bitter than the light but nothing special. ThomasE (5179), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 5, 2004 Dark golden colour with a white solid head. Aroma is hoppy with just hints of the malt. Flavor is mostly bitter and dry. Palate is thin. TBone (6679), Pori, Finland Aug 24, 2004 Bottled, alc. 4.5% (BB 03/2005)
Golden with medium white head. Aroma of a bit skunked hops and hints of boiled corn. Some malts but otherwise quite boring and lacking good pils hop character.
