0.33l bottle @ The George and Dragon, Barcelona. This is a clear deep amber-brown one with a massive and everlasting fluffy-dense off-white head. On the aroma I get soft brett-tones at first, some acidity and sour red currants. Hmm.. I’m not sure this is how it is supposed to smell? Let’s wait a while and let the massive head settle down. Actually the smell is really nice - in a unintended way (I beleive, unless it’s a sour brown ale). The taste however is not sour at all. That’s actually quite a surprise! It’s soft malty and yeasty, some wheat-like tones here and it has a dark malty and light chocolaty finish. Really enjoyable and quite different! 11.08.2012

Dark brown color, steady creamy beige head. Aroma is at first tart and has vegetables and some caramel, later more chocolaty and caramelly. Medium-bodied, lots of carbonation. Flavor is a bit same, not so tart more caramelly with some chocolate or cocoa, but also yeast and vegetables. Perhaps better from tap. Now average at the best.

On tap at George and Dragon, Barcelona. Brown colour, beige head. Chocolate and fruit aroma followed by dry chocolatey flavours. Good fruit, too. Very nice.

Botella de 330ml, servida en vaso Tumbler y saboreada en dic´11.Color marrón oscuro,apariencia algo velada.Corona beige,buena retención.Abundantes y bonitos collares.Maltas caramelo con matices de fruta madura y melazas en nariz.Sabores con notas de frutos secos,leve amargor y maltas moderadamente tostadas.Sutil especiado subyacente.Pleno sabor,cuerpo medio y carbonatación moderada.Retrogusto suave de lúpulos con toques de chocolate.Bien equilibrada y de agradable asimilación.330ml bottle.Served in a Tumbler glass.Enjoyed on dec´11. Dark brown in color, chill haze.Beige crown,good retention.Nice & copious collars.Caramel malts, hints of ripe fruit & molasses to the nose.Dry nut notes, slightly bitter & mildy toasted malt flavors.Subtle spicy underneath.Full flavor, medium body,moderate carbonation.Smooth hoppy aftertaste, chocolate hues. Well balanced beer,pleasant drinkability.
