UPDATED: MAR 12, 2015 Bottle from Beer52. Cloudy orange with a generous head, for a while. Sweet light fruity aroma. Dry, fruity, a little sweet, tasty. Very light. Certainly one of the best Spanish beers I’ve tried.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
33cl bottle at ABV 6% from beer52.com. A hazy amber pour with a rapidly fading white head; attractive apricot aroma; the taste starts with apricot kernels but soon fades to malty caramel; and the finish is rather watery, with little in the way of hops. A curate’s egg of a beer.

3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Got excited when I stuck my nose in the glass and found peaches. Tasting let it down. Looks really gaseous but the fine champagne bubbles leave it a little flat if anything. Some honey and the promised champagne is there but really needs cranking up to make this worthwhile. Maybe one to mature?
