Bottle, AKA "The Brewmaster" (Hakata omiyage gift from Neko-chan). Sweet n sour fruit aroma, some chemical note or maybe mold. Stale fruity initial, peaches, BBQ sauce, hopping like envelope flap glue. Thin and rather unpleasant mouthfeel. Doesnt seem completely attenuated, though I doubt it would be more than marginally better if it were. Really weird falvors for a golden/blond ale. Pretty bad. Who the f*#k is "K", anyway? And why does he let this guy brew?

Pours a cloudy golden. Aroma has yeasty florals, some citrus. Taste has a lot of citrus. Not my favorite beer, but love Fukuoka.

[2215-20090605] Sample. Mossy sweet maple floral toffee aroma has an odd floral note. Clear, medium orange body with a quick foamy white head. Maple floral malt flavour has an weird toffee note but is sweet throughout. Medium boozy body. Dont care for the floral.

A golden ale with a thin white head. A lightly lemony pale ale, with herbal hops, blandish. In mouth, a rather lemony pale ale with some interesting hops action. Strange and offputting. Mondiale 2009, June 5 2009.

2009-06-05. Dark yellow orange body with a small white head. Bizarre aroma, fresh honey according to MartinT but I would not of identified it as anything specific, touch of alcohol, florals come out as it warms. Flavour is also unusual, sweet fruity melange. (6+) Average to thin palate. Very interesting but a bit muddled overall, strange. Did not particularly care for it. Bottle labelled Brewmaster Blonde at Mondial 2009, Montreal

Bottle @ Mondial 2009. Aroma is orange, malt, plums, orange/amber, small custard head. Flavour is orange, malt and gummy bears. Light bodied, pleasantly sweet. Good.
