12 oz bottle. Deep brown-red beer with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet and nutty with a chewy molasses, toast and coffee character along with some overripe fruit. Earthy and slightly malty. Strangely thin bodied for something with so much residual sweetness. A bit of rum and plumminess. Thinnish and sweet. A very strange beast… just like the other beers from this brewery.

Botella. Clear dark brown colour, small beige like head, bubbly. Sweet aroma of dark malt and caramel with some coffee. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet with dark malt and caramel/toffee, bit nuts, some coffee. Rather thin and not a porter style brew, I would say.

A dark clear brown ale with a thcik big bubbled moka head. In aroma, a nice vanilla fudge aroma with sweet chocolate. In mouth, a nice maple and nuts taste, with caramel malt. Nice. Mondiale 2009, June 6 2009.

Appearance: light brown , clean light amber light , good beige top. Neat handsome appearance.
Nose: Off caramel aroma , hint of chocolate , milky finish. Slight roast.
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied with slightly muddy character. Light chocolate with charamel.

Aroma:strong toffe aroma,butter scotch... Appearance:Oily brown,good head.. Flavor:toffe-chocolate,the toffe flavor is very strong...

Bottle at Mondial 2009. Dark brown-red with a thin mocha head. Average retention. Aroma is wood, maple, sugar, alcohol, spices and caramel. Flavor is similar to the aroma. Thin body.

Bottle from the brewery. Lightish black color, dull-looking with a foamy head and lots of carbonation. Fruity, dark malt aroma, with coffee and funky yeast. Fruity flavor with cheap malt extract, funk-ass yeast, and a bit of coffee. Very bad. Less than 25% malt—what is the rest? Thin, sugary, ass. Bad all around.

Med brown color, dark fruit, molassess, dark chocolate and burnt sugar in nose. Not bad. Mouth is smooth, slightly sour, dark fruit and molassess. A bit too light, lingering molassess and soy flavors. Need a bit more umpphh to it, but still not bad.
