Medium, diminishing cream-tan head over chestnut-coloured beer. Bread, chocolate and a whiff of fertilizer. Sweet roasted malts. Sweet, softdrink-like flavour, as a less acid, bit undercarbonated cola. Bread, brown sugar, tad molasses; bit drier finish. Feels quite spritzy, light body with a slick gristlike filling. Oh well.

Dark brown. Very light aroma of grain and coffee. Very nice, long lasting head. Tastes good, like a light dunkel with aspects of coffee. Quite good beer.

Shared with Polish colleagues at restaurant Warschau. Brown colored beer with small off-white head and no carbonation visible. Malty aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is coffee malted end slight bitter.

On tap at Gospoda Podlaska, Białystok. Dark, almost impenetrable brown. Small ring of tan head. Not much aroma disappointingly. A trace of that liquorice/charcoal feel you get from dark European lagers. Taste is simple - bittersweet with a noticeably sweet finish - but very enjoyable and certainly refreshing in the sunshine. Not an intense experience but it doesn’t have to be.

Bottle. Dark red brown with a beige head. Aromas are earthy prune juice with raisins and dark treacle. Light molasses with medicinal notes. Flavours are earthy and woody with alcohol despite its strength. Raisins with smoke and cola vegetable fat. Not bad.

Bottle from Prohibicja alcohol store, Ostroda, Poland. Poured a deep brown colour with a ruby tint and a firm beige colour head. Aroma of caramel, malt, chocolate and fig. Fairly heavy on sweetness but not overpowering, mild bitterness with a slight bitter chocolate finish to mix with the sweetness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable beer but one is enough.

Butelka, na szybko: niebrzydko sie prezentuje, aromat fajny (acz za delikatny - glownie karmel, ciacha, jakies suszone owoce, najbardziej rodzynki, w smaku duzo gorzej, glownie slodycz karmelowa. do tego ewidentnie za wysokie wysycenie. malo ciala. sumarycznie: niezle.
