A surprisingly decent wheat beer. Aroma is a bit stuffy without anything special, appearance is very nice with a blooming, white head and a hazy body. Taste is decent, no bothersome elements, but no standout elements either: it was perfect with pizza! Good for food, but not exactly a savoring beer.

Nose was mostly yeasty, bananas and wheaty grain, little to no clove.
If I remember correctly it poured with impressive head, but it didn’t last very long...
Taste was quite thin, with watery mouthfeel. Disappointing; palate was really boring as well - it lacked body and general wheatiness.
Not impressive, not really bad either. Slightly below average.

On paper, this would have everything I’d want in a beer, right down to the added "syrop cukrowy" (sugar syrup). But after a decent head and ok if nondescript aroma, am hit...eventually...with BAM! a nasty metallic aftertaste that has to be exactly like licking the inside of a rusty tin can. Never again

Unfiltered bottle at 5.1% ABV. Pours a hazy gold with a tight and creamy medium white head with excellent retention. Didn’t realise this was unfiltered, so stored it on its side in a fridge. Aroma is wheat, yeast, red fruit, banana, a hint of raspberry, orange, lemon. Lemon zest. Malt, clean water. White sugar. Raw alcohol, acetone. Cloves. Bubblegum. Light to moderate bitterness, with some sourness. A tinge of sweetness. Decent carbonation. Crisp, refreshing dry finish. Pretty good.

Aroma of fruits and yeast. Well-balanced light taste of malt. Aftertaste is classical for hefeweizen.

Bottled 16/03/13. A hazy orangey brown coloured beer with a white head and lace. A pretty decent hefeweizen. Spicy and wheaty. A bit of banana. A sweet edge. Good enough.

Leighton (11895) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2012
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli on NYE. Pours well hazy orange with a moderate, white foam head. Mellow wheat nose, hints of banana and bubblegum, light citrus and dough. Light to medium sweet flavor, smooth wheaty malts, semi-ripe bananas, some yeasty esters, lemon. Light bodied with lively, mouth-filling carbonation. Mild dryness in the finish, some simple bready sugars, sweet wheat, a bit more yeast, ripe banana. A simple but very acceptable hefe.
