Bottle. Color brown with small white head. Aroma malt, bread, caramel, roasted. Taste malt, caramel, dry, bread.

Bottle: Ruby-amber coloured, medium-sized off-white head, traces of cacao-powder in the relatively dry fruity-toasty nose; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied and pretty soft; chocolatey traces in the short sweetish-bitter finish. Average, but quite well quaffable Dunkel...

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet toast-malty aroma with notes of chestnuts, caramel, vanilla and a woody touch. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather tame carbonation. Bready and nutty toast-malty taste with notes of caramel; sweet and mildly bitter toasty, malt-accented finish with caramel and a tinge of chestnuts in the aftertaste. Okay. 14.II.13

bottle, picked up at pivoteka in pilsen. quite dark for the style, brown with a touch of purple around the edges; surprisingly roasty aroma and suggestions of oatmeal stout; nice caramelised soy flavours and decent bitterness. a rich and stocky version of a dunkel and all the more enjoyable for it

Toast aroma. Pours cloudy brown with minimal brown head. It’s highly carbonated with medium texture. Tastes toasted and sour.

A cloudy brown colour with little head. Aroma is sweet malt and nutty coffee. Taste is sweet malt, with hints of coffee, chocolate and caramel.

Clear dark copper color, small off-white head. Aroma has a bit of burnt sugar, cardboard ... "dusty" feeling. Medium-bodied. Caramel, cola, some hops and metal, toasted notes and cardboard. Industrial flavor although drinkable.

500ml bottle. Clear dark brown with small to average frothy moderately lacing off-white head. Decent dark malty aroma. Dark malty taste, slightly watery, some dry rudimentarily roasty notes. A bit cautious overall.

Draught in Ingolstadt. Beautiful cola-chestnut body with a rocky white head. No real nose, a little fizzy and sour, somewhat malty medium body, sticky but not really sweet or bitter. Just is. Very crisp, though.
