bottle, bought at Markthalle Abensberg. Clear dark brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Intensive aroma of roasetd malts. Malty, with intensive flavours of roasetd malt and caramel. Medium-bodied, pleasantly hoppy with hints of dark chocolate and cocoa powder in the lingering finish. A delicious Dunkel.

Draught in Ingolstadt. Beautiful cola-chestnut body with a rocky white head. No real nose, a little fizzy and sour, somewhat malty medium body, sticky but not really sweet or bitter. Just is. Very crisp, though.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear brown - white head. Roasted, nutty, bread, dark bread, toasted, metallic notes, light caramel sweetness, light cereal notes.

Bottle at Papsø. Clear orange-red coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, bread and liquorice. Sweet flavour of malts, caramel, bread and liquorice. Sweet finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and light caramelish. Toasted malty and light caramelish. Bitter and dry breadish. Light toasted too. Ends dry and bitter.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has notes of bread, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear dark amber with an off-white head. Sweet, subtle roast. Medium body, sweet roast, some sulphur and a dryish finish. Very, very German - this could’ve been made nowhere else! Very clean. 260412

Tap. It’s mahoganyred with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel and syrup. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of full bodied caramel, syrup, light licorice and the finish is slightly dry. A nice dunkel.

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is dark fruits, some raisins and mild herbal and wooden notes. Flavour is wood, some mild dark grains, some mild fruity notes as well. Quite bitter finish.
