glennmastrange (2279) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle. Dark roasty cereal for the malt, light herbs and dough for the hops and yeast, with background notes of dried fruit. Head is large, frothy, light tan with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Flavor starts lightly sweet and faintly acidic, then finishes lightly bittersweet. Palate is medium, watery with a lively carbonation. Tasty Dunkelweizen to drink while sitting outside The Goldene Kugel watching Salzburg’s tourists searching out their next souvenier shop.

Botella de 500ml. Vaso Weizen. Color cobre oscuro y apariencia turbia. Refrescante y sabrosa. 500ml bottle. Weizen glass. Deep copper color, foggy appearance. Off-white to beige foam creates a close, thick & lasting crown. Banana zest, phenol, toasted biscuit aromas, floral perfume, hints of cinnamon & underneath chocolate cake to the nose. Crispy & toasted upfront leaves a dried sensation with light caramel hues. Medium body. Moderate to moderately high carbonation. Low bitterness, ripe grape, Danish chocolate biscuit & bready hues. Dry sweet/bitter finish with light acidic touches. Long fruity aftertaste displaying ripe banana memories & very subtle citric notes. Refreshing & flavorful.
