Nice beer, but a bit anonymous. Always nice with a weissbier but this one was a bit weak.

Erzengel (5503) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 5, 2014

Bottle 50 cl, BBE 03/2014. Pours bronze in color with a thick, creamy off-white head. Wheat, sweet fruityness and light floral notes in aroma. Wheat, light peppery spicyness and chewy fruits in taste. Nice tasting hefeweizen with a slightly sweet and ripe garden fruity finish.

This beer has a very thick, hazy texture with residue. Small white foam. Aroma is intensive with citruses, banana and cookie-like yeast and cereal stuff. Malts are dominant in the taste alongside with some bread.

Geruch fruchtig-bananig, Kaugummi. Startet hefefruchtig. Mitte würzig, fruchtig, bananig. Malzwürziger Schluß, bitter. Gut.

Nice color. White stable head. Aroma smell is very low. But clear banana taste. Very good carbonized. A good one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50cl bottle, Sagasser Coburg. Gorgeous Hundertwasser label, the biggest draw. Rings all the standard Weisse bells, especially clove, citrus and banana compote. Good hop presence, unbalanced mouthfeel. Decent, but not likely to convert anyone to the style.

Pours a hazy apricot color with an orrangish white head. Smell is sweet fruit, banana, clove. Taste follows ending dry. Light in body with nice carbonation. Overall a pretty tasty weizen.

Angenehm hefiger und leicht herber Antrunk. Passende Säure, rund würzig, vollmundig. Fruchtig rundes Weizen. 11/11/11/11/9/11
