Bottle.
Head is initially large, frothy, white, fully lasting.
Body is hazy medium to dark yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (bread), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of banana, taffy, kiwi, clove, pepper.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Light to medium body, watery/creamy texture, lively carbonation.
Well, it looks great, that’s for sure. Big lasting head and a glowing dark gold, can’t beat that for a Helles Weissbier. The aroma is also quite nice, a good balance of esters and phenols and base ingredients. Unfortunately in the mouth it’s not nearly as enjoyable...very thin and watery (esp. for the style), and rather bland. Overall solid.

(Keg at Dicker Mann, Regensburg, 20130313) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had banana, clove and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were clove, banana, fruitiness, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A good hefeweizen.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 maekchu (1090) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle from local Sake Marche. Fragrant banana, some yeast, and maybe miso. Cloudy medium-dark straw. Very smooth sweetness: banana and peach / moves into spritzy moderate banana and grain / finishes with a light tap of banana preserves. Medium body. Good, solid weiss. Has some moments of yeasty harshness, but otherwise fine.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Osprey87 (531) - London via, WALES - MAR 18, 2013
Apr 2012 - A simple wheat beer with no complexity, slightly more bitter than most and with a less sweet aftertaste
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 TAR (2346) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Draught at Kuchlbauer’s Gaststätte in Nurnberg, November 2012: Straw golden. Thin but rocky and clingy white foam. Alluring nose of sherbet, cookie, lemon, pineapple, honeydew, vanilla, clove, and starchy wheat. Touch of plasticlike phenols. Soft and snug carbonation. Initially gritty with yeast and crackery wheat. Succulent floral hop smack beautifully coincides with a ripe peach and honeydew suppleness. Malt exhibits good depth as its beefiness and springiness is deepened by an edgy cookielike sharpness. Just enough phenolic sparkle and tickle of lemony acids in the center to break the monotony and add contrast. Plentitude of silky vanilla lends fluffiness to the brawny wheat-derived starches. Ends dry, grittily yeasty and cookielike with faint pineapple and banana cream pie notions. Perhaps this would better appeal to me with more phenolic explosiveness, but nonetheless this is a lovely weissbier.

Bottle shared with McTapps. A weizen like they all are. Bit fruity with decent sweetness and full of yeast in the background. Drinkable, nice.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 McTapps (1484) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle. Milky amber colour with low but steady head and smooth body. Nose of fresh yeast. Taste of sparkling yeast, mild aples, green bananas and yeast dough (this one is always little bit sour). Light sour to fresh finish and medium carbonation. Nice one, but nothing too nice.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Grzesiek79 (2354) - Radom, POLAND - DEC 8, 2012
Ogólnie świetne piwo. Świetnie wygląda piana, jak wierzowiec i jest bardzo gęsta. Kolor mętny, a po przelaniu całości i po przelaniu resztek w butelce jest bardzo bardzo mętne. Dotychczas niespotykane w piwach pszenicznych z Bawarii. Piwo to świetnie komponuje się z wszelką żywnością. Polecam
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 3fourths (6943) - Straßgiech, Bavaria, GERMANY - NOV 20, 2012
draft at Kuchlbauer’s Gaststätte in Nuremberg.
lightly hazed golden wheat body with faint haziness (less cloudy and turbid than the Turmweisse) and a fine white head. phenolic clove, dried fruit and calcium notes to the nose along with the requisite wheat, honey and banana esters. lightly minerallic and chalky as well, with a similar flavor character. smooth / creamy / silk texture with firm and slightly rough carbonation. some heft to the malt and wheat. lemon oil and mango make an appearance as it breathes. another very drinkable weizen from this brewer, though more quiet and soft than the Turnweisse, and paler as well.
