COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A brown, Belgian-style abbey ale. Caramel, banana, biscuit and fruity-aromas contribute to the balance of this strong, complex beer. A sweet, bready and caramel flavor follows with a silky, creamy finish.

ABV: 9.2%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, wood, alcohol, leather notes. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, sweet, tart notes. 2005 Bottle. Cloudy brown beer. Dry semi crisp palate. Sweetish banana and malt that is also dry and tangy. A dry sourish malt finish with a trailing edge of sweet bubblegum. Pretty full on Belgian style ale!

Dark, almost opaque black color, small beige head. Caramel, cola, licorice in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, caramelly (cola candy!), low bitterness, dryish finish with some licorice. Also candy sugar and grapes. Interesting bockish dessert beer.
