3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Michigan Brewer’s Guild Summer Festival 2010. Deep amber pour. The nose is softly fruity with a bit of light sweetness. A little bit toasty as well. Flavour has fruity chile pepper character. Peppery and quite spicy - although not as much as it could be. Lingering toastiness with a bit of fruit. Sort of a slightly peppery amber ale.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled from the tap at the 2010 GTMW. Poured a cloudy yellow brown with a light brown head that lasted throughout the beer. A hint of sweet grains on the nose but overwhelmed by the spicy peppers. Flavor was similarly overwhelming with plenty of spice from the peppers and just a slight grain undertone.
