Tmoney99 (3636), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 3, 2007 Draft sample at MBGF07. Poured a hazy copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Heavy hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Moderate hoppy citrus flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration with a small alcohol bite. Good brew. ClarkVV (3547), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Feb 24, 2004 Updated: Oct 25, 2004Deep golden amber, moderately hazy, with a thick white head on it. Smells of bitter, citric hops, fresh and crisp. This is hops to the max and is very intensely bitter. Flavor is a bit one-sided with the cascades dominating everything. Malt is there, but only lightly present on the finish and medium sweet at best. Almost lagerish in its crispness. Dry, papery mouthfeel exacerbated by the pale malt. I'm not making it sound very good, but it's not that bad, especially as this style generally makes little attempt at balance. thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA May 13, 2004 This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of light brown colored small to medium sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body was a semi-transparent hazy brown color and the aroma was a medium hoppy one. The palate was tingly with a medium strength hop bite. The flavor was also hoppy with mild brown malts. hotstuff (3045), Indiana, USA May 9, 2004 On tap at Kuhnhenn Brewing. Poured a small sized ivory head that contained fine-large sized bubbles that were mostly lasting. The body was carbonated, murky and the hue was orange-brown. The aroma was malty and hoppy. The taste was dominated by hops. This beer’s lacing was fair.
