Draft. Clear and orange with a 2 finger head. Lots of lacing in glass. The best thing about this beer was the nose - beautiful citrus/floral hops. Smooth in the mouthfeel with lots of citrus notes. Decent malt balance. Very easy drinking. Damn good IPA by a fine brewery.

Sample at Kuhnhenn on 5/16/14. Clear amber in color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, some caramel and breadiness along with piney and grassy hops. Malty flavor with grassy and citrusy hops through to the finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Kuhnhenn. Appearance is an amber/gold with a two finger fluffy white head. Breaks into spotty lacing and clings to the glass. Aroma is loaded with floral hops. Some sweetness permeates but not much. Taste is hop forward with a nice floral bitterness balanced with some caramel malt sweetness. Very nice IPA with a medium body that provides a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Some good earthiness comes across in the finishes lending some dryness to the mouthfeel.

Draft at taps 25. Clear copper with an off white head. Huge grapefruit, juicy nectarine and pineapple aromas. Intense and amazing. Peach, tropical fruit and a bunch of sweetness. I wish there were more bitterness to balance it out. Otherwise this would be amazing.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap: stunning color, perfectly & purely amber with exceptional clarity & a chunky, cream colored cap that sits nicely on top. Aroma is heavy Centennial hops, reminds me of Two Hearted. Floral notes, light citrus, perfume, white grapefruit, leaves, & a finishing touch of toasted bread & caramel malt. Taste is not as great as the aroma. Up front, hoppy bitterness, somewhat brash. Floral hops, pine, stinging perfume, pungent grapefruits, & some sweet tangerines in the finish. Faint white pepper. Heavy malt finish, tangy-sweet like buttered bread & toasted dinner rolls. Lingering grapefruit & pine finish. Loved the nose, taste didn’t blow me away... But still a nice IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at CBC Islington, thanks to Josh. It pours an orange body with a medium white head. Aroma is light pine needles hoppy, quite musky. Balanced taste with biscuit and pine needles again. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Unspectacular.

Tap at CBC Islington. Deep amber pour with a small beige head. Nose is toast, caramel and pine driven hops. More pine in the taste with grapefruit and caramel. Slightly burnt. All round solid stuff
