1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 JoeMcPhee (7622) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 30, 2010
Tap at Hop Devil Grill. Cloudy amber golden pour. The nose is kind of odd. A bit of sweet adjuncty character and a touch of light fruitiness as well. There is also a fairly pronounced aroma of DMS in there. As it warms up it amplifies kind of turning this into a mess – buhhhh.

On tap at the brewpub on 4/27/06: Pours a clear orange copper with a nicely-lacing wispy white head. Lightly malty sweet and piney hoppy aroma. Body starts semi-sweet turning more bitter and citric toward the finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dogbrick (6033) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and citrusy hops. Light body with a caramel malt character spiked with some grapefruity hops. The finish is malty with a slightly hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Ibrew2or3 (5761) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 1, 2007
On draft at brewery. Nice copper color with thin off white head. The aroma is tart grapefruit and a hint of sweet malt. Nice hop bite of what seems like grapefruit hop type flavor and bitterness. The malts take a back seat behind the tall hop flavor profile. Nice tasty beer for the hop head or aspiring hop head.

Draft. Pours a hazy orange body with a white head. Fruity esters, pears and sweet sweet like a fresh apple tone. Not an amber by any means. Soft fruity floral with a mild drying earthy warming. Nice ale.
