2012. Violet-colored pour emits startlingly fresh blueberries, honey, grapes. I'm still unsure how to standardize my mead appearance ratings. Sticky body, good overall thickness. Vinous character is easy to finger; integrates well with the blueberries. And, as always, it's far too easy to drink.

Small bottle tnx to Greg. Pours clear deep amber with some lilac tones. Aroma is sweet almonds blueberries fruity honey. Flavor is sweet honey a bit astringent and acidy blueberries; very nice.

Bottle. pours light purple with no head. very nice berry aroma. taste is sweet and slight tang from berry. almost taste like grape soda

Nip sized bottle. 2012 vintage. Poured a purplish color with no head. Aromas of fruitiness, grapes, vinous, and if I stretch, some lighter blue berries. Tastes of berries, melted grape snow cone water, honey, and vinous. Another mead that I like!

Pours a clear nearly concord grape color with no head. The aroma is much more pinot than blueberry with a hint of honey. Taste is a delicate fruity grape bouquet with a hint of sweetness in the finish. Body is light with a thin texture, no carbonation, and a semi-long finish. Overall an interesting mead and my first pyment.

Bottle poured purplish pink, flavor of berries and sweet cherries, honey with a slightly tart vinous finish.

Bottle from BenC...thanks Ben! - Pours light pink and clear. Nose isn’t blueberry--it’s fruity and mellow with a bit of dry red grape. Fruity and sugary. Don’t get any blueberry. Just too sugary for my tastes. Slick and light bodied.

Bottle - Pours like a transparent dark red, Nice amount of blueberry in the nose, Mainly blueberries with some currants and grapes, A nice honey sweetness. Definitely one of my favorites

Bottle, cracked with James late night. Pours a bright ruby pink color with no head and lacing. Aromas of Mr Zogs sex wax, blueberry, red wine, honey, vanilla, and grapes. Taste is so tart with red grape skins, pinot, blueberry cobbler, cinnamon, anc honey. Medium bodied warming mead with just the right amount of sweetness coming through.

Bottle courtesy of Vinny. Pours a bright red wine body. Aroma is red wine, blueberries and cherries. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with notes of blueberries, cherries, soft wine, honey, vanilla and oak wine barrels.
