UPDATED: NOV 10, 2012 Bottle received in trade. Thank you Boltz7555! Pours clear golden with no head worth mentioning. Smell is huge and very sweet with ripe banana, cinnamon, marzipan, vanilla fudge, alcohol, toast, caramelized sugar, sweet sweet honey, bourbon, charred wood, coconut, nutmeg and cardamom. Taste is very sweet with ripe banana, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, honey, toast, nutmeg, alcohol, marzipan, banana bread, melted butter, lactose, vanilla fudge, dry wood and bourbon. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet, round, burning boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet with banana bread, vanilla fudge, roasted coconut, alcohol, cinnamon, cardamom, hazelnuts, nutmeg, honey, lactose and melted butter. Its exactly what the name says it is! Great great stuff! Very happy to share this with a friend as his 1000th US rating.

Thanks to IBrew2or3 for this one. Cheers, Dave!! Pours a clear yellow-gold with no head- it’s a mead. Nose is bourbon, powdered sugar, huge vanilla, mild booze, and some light earthy honey. Flavor is a tremendous blend of sugar, some cinnamon, some light sugar, and some bourbon and vanilla. Light in body, mildly boozy, and really cool.

Pours clear deep golden with no head. The aroma is perfect, big sweet hazelnuts that smell like maraschino cherries and French Toast with maples syrup, just as intended and ridiculous! The flavor starts out sweet with honey at first, but then gets huge with influence of the bourbon, not spicy or vanilla, but smooth sweet liqueur. The bananas are lightly in the background, but overall the flavors are blended so well.

Bottle @ Crooked Stave ROY-G-BIV Day, big fucking thanks to Travis for sharing this with Armin, Stephen, and I. Pour a golden appearance with a bit of a bubbly white head. Aroma is out of this fucking world- bananas, nuts, toffee, honey, and caramel. Fairly nutty, somewhat herbal, moderate bourbon, toffee/caramel flavor with a nice banana presence. Man, I really would love to try this again. Fucken a bro.

Bottle shared by my good bud Ed Roberts, thanks bud! Never really been a mead type of guy but this was incredible. Nice spicy cinnamon aroma with no real heat to speak of. Definitely taste very similar to french toast. I’ll be on the look out for more of these for sure

2012 Vintage
Tasted on 8/31/13 from a capped 375mL bottle, big thanks to JR for bringing this one. Pours clear pale yellow with no head, much like a white wine. The nose is absolutely fantastic. It smells just like fresh-off-the-griddle french toast with plenty of cinnamon and all of the beautiful caramel and maple bourbon in the background. There is a bit of heat on the nose and just a touch of hazelnut coming through. On the palate, it is almost the same with just the right amount of sweetness, a ton of french toast and the bourbon nuttiness on the back of the palate. The body is full with no carbonation and a long finish featuring the bourbon and hazelnut.
