Bottle shared by BenC...thanks Ben! - Pours clear pale yellow with no head. Nose is really subtle. Semi-sweet honey with some gentle floral notes. Taste is real gentle honey sweetness, a bit of fruitiness, and some white wine. Thin and slick with no carbonation.

PhillyCraft (5602) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Bottle, cracked on Christmas Eve night as the snow started falling. Pours a gingerale clear golden color, no lacing or head. Aromas of white zinfandel, creamy honey, light apple cinnamon spice. Taste is very similiar with a ton of grape, blossom honey, melon, and vanilla. This mead coats the mouth with such a pleasent earthy honey flavor. A little more boozey in aroma and taste then most Kuhnhenns but what do you expect at 15 percent? As it warmed the aftertaste had that waxy quality that I have grown to love. Delicious honey wine.

Pours a light yellow. Aromas of honey, grapes, and light citrus. Flavor is wonderful floral honey. Light grape skin and white wine. Hints of citrus and a dash of melon. Would take this over a bottle of wine any day. Great stuff.
