Thanks to Alex for picking this up for me while in Detroit... pours a clear light gold with a peach tint, no head... subtle nose with light honey, spice, oak a bit of grape skin, more spicey than anything but I like it... oak, spice, really dry wine finish, a hint of honey, a bit to peppery spicy but I like it... not a ton of flavor but a restrained drinkable mead

Bottled. A golden mead. The aroma has notes of spices and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey and flowers, leading to a dry finish.

Hazy yellow straw color. Light honey aroma, very light glue, with light aroma of white grapes, very light flowers too; delicate, nice, interesting; just a bit less powerful than the Pinotage I just had. Quite sweet, there is light mead flavor, with light but nice white grape juice. Again, I prefer a focus on red grapes, but anyway this one is quite delicate.

Bottle 18 cl. Courtesy of TheCheeseMan. Pours a clear golden. Spicy aroma even zesty. Medium body, naturally honey sweetness but also a very refined almost perfumy edge. I really think the wine barrel is coming through adding an edge of dryness and tartness. Alcohol is evident but not overpowering. Very pleasant and sophisticated. 010810
