Dark red purple pour no head. Lots of port wine aroma hint of fruit cherry. Nice rich wine throughout with nice fruit notes coming through. Sweet at first sip but simmers down the more you drink. Light body and light carbonation. So easy to drink. Hint of alcohol burn.

Pours a nice plum color...mostly opaque. Aroma is very winey...lots of cherry, plum, red wine...boozy. Flavor is very fruity with cherry, black cherry, and plum...just a hint of red wine...sweet. Mouthfeel is medium and slick with a warming cherry/wine finish. Very good!

Bottle - Pours dark red with a little transparency. Aroma is filled with dark cherries and red wine. There is a mostly cherries and red wine with some tartness. Overall, this is solid. I want more.

6oz nip bottle. Thanks to mike I believe... Pours a black cherry, dark plum hued consistency, leggy and still. Port-like while leaving a touc of transparency... Aroma of sweetened black cherry with an accomodating sweet pure honey factor involved. A deeper and dark berriness also plays into the equation. Solid and inviting... Smooth with accentuations focused on the black cherry and smooth honey notes. Cherry skins peak through for a shirt duration becomes red grapey for an instant before the smooth semi-boozy nature of the mead concludes the experience. Medium bodied overall, perhaps just shy of with penetrating deep flavors from the port and mead blend. Enjoyed this one quite a bit.

Pours a deep reddish purple. Aromas of red wine and light berry. Flavor is both sweet and tart berry. Hints of red wine and port. Lightly tannic. Loads of fruit in the finish . Awesome stuff.
