Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear dark golden brown color with good legs. Heavy chocolate, pumpkin and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and long legs. Medium to heavy pumpkin chocolate flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Pleasing smooth alcohol burn. Very good mead.

Bottle thanks to Steve. Pours clear light orange. No head. Nose/taste of cheap imitation chocolate, cheap cigar, vanilla and pumpkin spice. Herbal finish. The chocolate mutes out some of the pumpkin spice but comes off as unnatural. Medium body.

Sparkling gold pour. Aroma of honey, white chocolate, pumpkin spice and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, booze, pumpkin, light chocolate notes sneaking around. Good stuff and unique as hell!

Bottle… Hazy golden braggot with sparse legwork. The aroma is a luxuriant intermingling of white chocolate, milk chocolate, vanilla, pumpkin pie spices and cinnamon. Medium to full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. The flavor provides sweet, succulent, pumpkin pie and vanilla sweetness offset by just the right level of woody bitterness. Finishes bittersweet. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

Bottle @ Matt’s house, courtesy of bushmat1. Thanks Matt! Pours a fairly clear orangish brown appearance with no head. Rich milk chocolate, pumpkin, nutmeg, vanilla aroma. Pear, apple, honey, rich chocolate, caramel flavor. Pretty fucken çhïll.

Braggot Bottle brought back from the Winter Soltice. Floral aroma. Light orange colour. Low carbonation, this works and makes it smooth, but surprising for the style. Hops, Spice, pecans, butterscotch, chocolate and pumpkin in the finish that builds up. Above average mouthfeel.

Extremely sweet but a really interesting combo of flavors especially for a mead.

Pour out of 375 mL bottle, dark reddish pour with thin to no head, aroma is amazingly full of milk chocolate, cocoa powder, lots of sweet chocolate notes into caramel, hints of slight vanilla, the pumpkin is completely covered up. Taste is big milk chocolate, vanilla, honey, big caramel, toffee, slight pumpkin but it is hidden, finishing sweet, slight earth, lots of cocoa powder. Tasty.

12oz bottle, thanks to umich03jm. 2011 winter solstice bottle. Clear orange color. Just a few white bubbles of head. Big aroma. Distinct pumpkin and sweet chocolate. Very sweet taste. Medium to bigger body. No viscosity, no sticky syrupiness. Just kind of a watery texture. Alcohol is not very noticeable, well blended with the mead. With small sips, no burn or bite at all. Barely a warmth, even. What’s holding me back is the intense sweetness. I like my chocolate dark and bitter. There’s a definite milk chocolate aroma to this, but it’s just very sweet for me. Like hot chocolate mix gone cold. Pumpkin also noticeable, but the sweet chocolate is distracting - I’d like to try the standard version of this, without the chocolate component - that seems more up my alley. Very interesting mead, though. Glad I got the chance to try it. A challenge to drink, though
