UPDATED: DEC 27, 2014 Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Clear, stained mahogany body with a small, off-white head. Cinnamon bomb, both in aroma & flavor. Nothing like actual Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, just straight up cinnamon spice. Reminds me of those potpourri spiced broomsticks you get from old country stores like Cracker Barrel or something. I mean, I like cinnamon, but this is straight up cinnamon challenge in liquid form. First few sips were like "okay.... okay" but by the end of the glass, it was a bit much.

I wanted to like this but what did I expect? Cinnamon cinnamon cinnamon. Sometimes a little watery but then cinnamon. That’s form the taste, aroma. Light body light carbonation. Cinnamon.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2014 On tap at the brewery. Smells like a mountain of cinnamon and taste like it. The taste really has that powdery cinnamon sugar flavor matching the cereal. Kudos to Kuhnhenn on this interesting beer clone.

Sample at Kuhnhenn. Pours light amber with a small head that lingers a bit. Aroma is dominated by cinnamon with hints of other spices. Taste is pretty much a cinnamon bomb and it’s not very enjoyable. Couldn’t finish my sample.

Pint at Kuhnhenn on 3/30/13. Clear amber pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, vanilla and cinnamon. Cinnamon and malt flavor with a sweet vanilla finish. Different, and very tasty. They nailed it with the description.

This one was the "mystery beer" listed for the breakfast of champions 2013, and it seems as though it was mystery because they threw this one together at the last second. Poured a murky amber color with a small off white head. Aroma was of pretty much all cinnamon, and light caramel and grain notes. Flavor had mild cereal qualities, but the cinnamon is way way over the top on this one. Harsh and hard to drink. Almost taste like the fireballs candy.
