Commercial Description:
Our answer to the light beer drinker, this American style domestic lager is aged longer than your regular domestic to give it a smoother, cleaner finish. It exhibits some sweet characteristics balanced by some bitterness, giving it a light and refreshing taste.

Very pale straw colour. Thin head. The nose is light with a little bit of graininess. Light grassy aroma as well. Very light bodied with a bit of lean crackery malt character. Meh… it’s okay if light lagers are your thing, but they aren’t really mine.

Tap at Blind Tiger: Very pale yellow with a white film of head. Vacant macro aroma- some cereal grains, corn and mild pale malt husk. Light body with a very simple flavor. Mild pale malt grains with notes of corn, mild vegetal notes and hardly any discernible hop character or bitterness. Adjunct ridden, but fairly clean. Very boring.

On tap at the Blind Tiger at their Kuhnhenn event. Pours a clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Light grain and barely a touch of hops. Not much going on aroma or flavor wise, but very inoffensive with no huge grain notes and just a touch of sweetness. Really refreshing though, and probably a fine lawnmower or poolside beer. For as bad a score as I’m giving this, I’d certainly drink this again given the right circumstances.

Pours a light gold with a white head that dissipates quickly, light malt aroma and taste, some hints of corn, I was hoping for a little more, ok for drinking with food.

Likely the best swill lager I’ve ever had. Draft at the brewpub. Clear, light and refreshing. Everything bud light should be.

On tap at Kuhnhenn. Color is very pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is very faint, of corn and rice. Hardly tastes like anything, it’s so mild, with a hint of grain. Crisp, watery mouthfeel. Just OK.

On tap at the Kuhnhenn Brew Pub. Poured a medium and clear golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of corn, grainy, and some cereal. Tastes of corn and grainy. It is a Pale Lager...
