Pours a cloudy pale yellow. Aroma is a bit funky with notes of honey and tart apple. Flavor has light honey up front followed by tart apple. More tart than sweet.

Bottle brought back for me from the Winter Solstice. Shared with Mishuggah and bauermj. Pale yellow in color along the lines of a Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. Nose is heavy apple and some light white grape. Not much honey from the mead though. Flavor isn’t all that impressive, very light apple in it, isn’t really crisp or dry flavor, there is a weird bitter sweetness to it that I’m not liking all that much. Mouthfeel is light to moderate, no carbonation, lightly sweet, and a short finish. It’s a decent cyser, nothing special. Really glad I got a bottle to tick but it’s just a really mediocre Kuhnhenn product.

Bottle thanks to my sister! Pours a clear pale yellow with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a combination of earthy apple and dry honey. Flavor starts with a bit of green apple that is masked in the finish by dry honey.

On tap. Aroma has notes of honey, flowers, apricots and mild citrus fruits. Golden yellow hue. Flavor is very sweet and slightly astringent. Palate is medium bodied. Overall a very nice and average mead.
