Draft at Kuhnhenn. Poured a clear dark burgundy color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex yeasty roasted malt aroma. Medium to full body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good brew.

On draught at Kuhnhenn. Aroma of malt, spices, and alcohol. Aroma was a bit weak for the style. Taste of spices, malt, light hops, sugar, and alcohol. Rich mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation. Nice beer.
