Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is malt, citrus, grapefruit and grass. Flavour is malt, citrus, grapefruit and light grass. Fresh.

Sample @ CBC. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, grain, pine, malt and little caramel.

Tap @ Fermentoren. Cheers to Deeblo for the generous pour. The appearance is light gold with a small head. The aroma’s citrus, floral herbal hop, some grapefruit and lime. The taste is exotic tropical fruits and citrus. More grapefruit, starfruit, lemon peel. Candied yellow apples, some grassy bitterness on the finish. Light, clean body considering the chunky ABV. Overall, pretty solid stuff.

Tap @ Christian Firtal Pale Ale Festival, 2013. Pours hazy yellow with a small creamy head. Crisp and grassy. Some melon and peach. Smooth, bitter and dry.

Fra fat på CBC mai-13: flott skum og syrlig lettdrikkellighet med sin slanke kropp. Noe ufrisk bitterhet mot slutten, så førsteinntrykket var det beste. Hvorfor de bruker ris i denne fikk jeg ikke spurt om. Begrepet DRIPA er et helt nytt territorium for meg, men jeg ser ingen grunn til å utforske det.

Tap @ Odense Pale Ale Festival. Clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is hops, fruit such as mango, pineapple, caramel. Flavor is fruit, hops, pineapple, caramel, malt. Nice.

Backlogged rating: Golden hue with some head. The beer profile is mango, pineapple, resin, pine, grainy and slight caramel. Lots of biscuity and fruity notes. Lively and aggressive mouthfeel, slight booze. Overall solid brew but nothing all that memorable.

From tap at CBC, 2013. Golden with a dense, frothy white head. Hoppy nose with quite some biscuity malt and notes of citrus, herbs and flowers. Smooth and well balanced, medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter, crisp fruity hoppy finish.
