COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Rice India Pale Ale. This gold colored West Coast style Double India Pale Ale has an intense hop nose, with aromas mainly of citrus. The high hop character dominates this IPA’s flavor pro-file. Made with American long grain rice, it is quite difficult to make but the rice con-tributes to this beer’s crisp aftertaste.

On tap at Kuhnhenn Brewpub. Golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is very dank with pine, pale malts, light citrus and mild fruit. Taste of citrus, resinous hops, alcohol, tropical fruits and a bit of booze. Mouth feel is a little slippery and it finishes up with a light burn and a hi alpha bitterness.

Growler share thanks to homer321 he won for fbw. Pours a mildly hazy light orange color. Huge danky citrusy hop aroma. Big hop character in the flavor as well, danky, citrusy...bitter but not overwhelming, smooth. Finishes earthy hop notes.

Growler from blowofftube from free beer week. A ton if pine and citrus in the nose. Light malt if anything. No esters. Very clean. Fairly clear orange with a small white head. Initially very clean with a weird tropical creamy orange-sickle kinda flavor. Creamy but dry. A ton of fruit in the flavor but doesn’t seem yeast based. Crazy. Mango too. Hop flavor is just incredible. No sign of alcohol at all. Great beer.

on tap at fermentoren in copenhagen. faintly hazed amber with a fluffy white head; aroma of pine and citrus with plenty of alcohol showing and tending towards nail polish remover; slight earthy flavour with some warming alcohol and plenty of bitterness in the finish. not entirely convincing

Kuhnhenn dripa 95kr. Doft: annanas, fruktigt, savett. Smakar: mjukt, fyllig kropp, välbalanserad. Jätte god. Denna öl blir min andra från denna bryggeri och båda ölen har levererat på ett utomordentligt sätt.

Bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Pours amber with a big, frothy head forming on top. Aroma is rich and diverse; it offers plenty of floral and citrus hoppiness. Fruitiness is rich and seems to have even some tropical elements. Taste is intense. It is at first light sweet, as Double IPAs often are. Caramel and tropical fruits mix in the initial taste, later bitterness appears and carries the tasting experience to it’s conclusion, to the long, grapefruit-flavored finish that also has a hint of rice. The palate is medium to full bodied, moderately carbonated. Overall a very good IPA.
