UPDATED: APR 8, 2014 Tap: Perfectly copper, good clarity with only a small chill haze. Soapy, off white and light being head reduces quickly. Aroma consists of wheat, gummy Belgian yeast, mild banana and fruity esters and a little earthiness. Mild lemon/citrus zest. Taste is very herbal and grassy; lots of ashy leaves, herbaceous floral notes, little perfumery. Pungent flower pedals. Sharp Belgian yeast with mild kitchen spice and a touch of clove in the finish. Strange metallic flavor in the aftertaste as well. Dry and clean, low carbonation. Decent, but not great... Taste doesnt follow through exactly as the aroma would indicate.

Growler: The aroma consists of apple, yeast, fruit, and light pepper. It pours a transparent copper/orange with a one finger yellow tinted off-white head that eventuallyy fades to a thin film. There is some very thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with fruit, apple, and light citrus. The finish has light pepper with just a hint of floral notes. Its light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

Draft at Kuhnhenn. Pours bright orange with a medium sized foamy head that lingers nicely and leaves good lacing. Aroma is very yeasty and peppery with fruit and berries too. Taste is spicy black pepper with some bread and Belgian yeast. Finishes with a hint of fruitiness along with pepper. Solid saison, very easy to drink.
